Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Calvin Kuntz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lithe Tarzan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lithe Tarzan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Calvin Kuntz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lithe Tarzan! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.
![](https://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/round1.jpg) The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tarzan takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Tarzan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kuntz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tarzan moves away. Lithe Tarzan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kuntz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kuntz gets caught flat footed, as Tarzan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Tarzan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tarzan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Kuntz keeping full guard, as Tarzan tries to pass.
Tarzan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Tarzan engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tarzan drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Tarzan seems to have locked his on tight now - Kuntz screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Tarzan, as he picks up the win!
