The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brown shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Jose has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Brown is working away from the top position though.

Brown is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jose has managed to free his arm - good work.
Jose wants to control but Brown is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Brown is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jose sees it coming and defends easily.
Jose wants to sweep but Brown has passed to side control!

Brown is working to tighten is grip on Jose's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Jose has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Brown is really squeezing tight and eventually Jose passes out! Brown breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
