Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between La Vics (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chakrabongse Bhuvanath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vics is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Chakrabongse Bhuvanath has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with La Vics's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bhuvanath throws a jab when Vics was well out of range.
Vics is breathing heavily.
Bhuvanath fails to land the takedown.

Bhuvanath closes the distance and clinches.
Vics prevents a takedown attempt there.

Bhuvanath ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bhuvanath no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

La Vics has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chakrabongse Bhuvanath.

Bhuvanath has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Vics uses from the top position.
