The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Mounds catches Silva right on the button with a cross.

It looks like Ryan Silva has been cut.
Mounds attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Mounds throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Silva tries to clinch up but Mounds circles away and keeps his distance.

Silva looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Mounds working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Silva.
Mounds knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Silva on the ground.

Silva decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Silva shoots in for a double leg but Mounds sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Mounds paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Mounds lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Mounds lands with a straight right. Silva didn't see that one coming.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Mounds connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Mounds lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Silva is looking to close the distance but Mounds sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Silva crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Silva is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
