Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Burnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Burgundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burnett fails to land the takedown.

Burgundy tries to clinch up but Burnett circles away and keeps his distance.

Burnett dives in and scores a takedown into Burgundy's guard.

Burgundy is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Burnett is controlling him.

Burgundy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Burnett. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Burnett has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Burnett throws a strike but Burgundy rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Burnett manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Burnett darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Burnett is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Burgundy is hurt! He's hurt bad - Burnett fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Burgundy from any more punishment! Congratulations to Burnett! Great finish!
