Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Erik Redd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mitsu Inose!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inose changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Redd looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Redd is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Inose is controlling him well.
Inose connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Redd some visible discomfort.
Inose scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Redd is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Inose can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mitsu Inose!
