Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between High Lighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Osko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lighter comes into the arena with What What (In the Butt) blaring out of the sound system. Osko is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Selling the Wind. The key to victory for High Lighter has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lighter closes the distance looking to clinch
and Osko counters with a good low kick that Lighter was not able to check.

Lighter moves to clinch but Osko breaks away
and Osko counters with a nice leg kick.
Lighter tries to clinch
and Osko counters with a nice uppercut.
Lighter darts in trying to clinch
and Osko counters with a left and a right that stings Lighter.
Osko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lighter moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Osko counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

and Lighter counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lighter.
Osko swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Osko lands with a short shot to the head.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Lighter just misses with a elbow thrown towards Osko's brow.

Lighter looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Lighter misses with an elbow over the top.

Osko wants the takedown. Lighter is fighting it off but Osko persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Lighter's guard against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Osko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lighter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Osko has managed to get both his arms back between Lighter's legs - danger averted.

Lighter has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Osko is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lighter.
Lighter is trying to escape the position but Osko is controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lighter tries to improve position but can't.
Osko trying to control the action but Lighter is working from the bottom.
Osko in side control, throwing shots but Lighter defends.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lighter manages to get back to half guard.
Lighter is doing well to control the position and prevent Osko from advancing to side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Osko in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

High Lighter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

I've got Osko winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
