Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jared Sage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Binse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jared Sage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Christopher Binse!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Binse misses with a body shot.
Sage slaps away a takedown attempt from Binse, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Binse manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Sage on his heels. He'll look to pass Sage's guard now, I'm sure.
Sage has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Binse has passed into side control.
Sage throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.

Sage tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Binse wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Binse tries to score with some ground and pound. Sage controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Sage slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Binse lands a couple of digs.

Sage shoots in looking for a takedown. Binse tries to sprawl out of it but Sage keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Binse manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Sage tries to score a power double leg takedown but Binse sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sage somewhat.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Binse can do anything to dispel that myth.

Binse might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Sage kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sage takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Sage has hold of Binse's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Binse manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Well Binse has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
