Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gemini No Saga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tre Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saga's entrance music is Pegasus fantasy. A fine choice. Gemini No Saga is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Torres, right into the meat.
No luck for Torres with that takedown attempt.
A punch combination from Saga misses.
Saga throws a leg kick but Torres sees it coming and moves out of range.
Saga shoots in looking for a takedown. Torres tries to sprawl out of it but Saga keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Torres manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Saga counters with a single leg into guard. Torres didn't expect that.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Saga trying to control but Torres is working from the bottom.
Saga trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Torres is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Saga trying to control the position from guard on top but Torres is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Gemini No Saga.
Saga tries a head kick but it misses.
Torres slips a jab and a cross from Saga.
A left lands for Saga.

It looks like Tre Torres has been cut.
Torres throws a head kick that misses.
Saga throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Torres dives in and grabs Saga's left leg, looking for a takedown. Saga pushes down on Torres's head and hops out.
Gemini No Saga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tre Torres.
Saga is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Saga tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Torres is defended easily by Saga.

Torres shoots and misses

and Saga counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Torres's guard now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Torres looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Saga cracks Torres with a solid left hand.
Torres keeping full guard, as Saga tries to pass.
Saga wants to control from the top but Torres keeps moving.
Saga is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Gemini No Saga.

Torres gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Saga gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Saga looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Saga is trying to control the action in half guard but Torres is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Saga thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Saga wants to take a breather but Torres is having none of it.

Saga is looking for a kimura here.
Saga passes the guard and advances to mount!
Torres can't escape the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Saga pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Saga get's back to his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Saga looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gemini No Saga dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Tre Torres's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Saga fails in his attempt to clinch.
Saga shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Torres but Torres pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Torres stuffs the takedown attempt from Saga. Saga gets slowly back to his feet.
Nice sprawl there from Saga as Torres shoots in.
Torres doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Saga counters with a nice uppercut.
Torres fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Gemini No Saga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tre Torres.
Saga throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Torres's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Saga dives in looking to finish as Torres flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Saga's strikes! Saga is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Torres's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Torres was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
