The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mathieux throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Clementin Mathieux seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mathieux misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Agro moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Mathieux's corner calls for a 1-2. Mathieux obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
An inside leg kick from Mathieux misses.
Agro displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mathieux.
Agro missing with a left hand there. Mathieux was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Mathieux tries to bum rush Agro with a series of wild strikes but Agro uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Agro is looking to clinch but Mathieux is avoiding it.
Mathieux fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Agro manages to avoid it.
Mathieux just misses with a punch to the body.
Mathieux tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Agro was well out of range. Poor timing from Mathieux.
Agro doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and Agro counters by clinching up.
Agro pushes off an throws an elbow but Mathieux leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Mathieux escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
No joy there for Agro, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Agro shoots in looking for a takedown. Mathieux tries to sprawl out of it but Agro keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mathieux manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Mathieux's jab looks to have found its range, popping Agro under the eye.
Agro tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mathieux throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mathieux.
Agro throws a combination that misses
and Mathieux counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Agro throws a nice looking combination but Mathieux bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Mathieux catches Agro with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Mathieux cracks Agro with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Mathieux throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Agro.

Mathieux closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mathieux lands in his opponent's guard.

Mathieux goes for an armbar but Agro turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Agro.
Mathieux is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mathieux is trying to control the position but Agro postures up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Mathieux is on top in guard.

Mathieux postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Mathieux in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mathieux wants to pass the guard but Agro is keeping the position.
Mathieux trying to control but Agro is working from the bottom.
Mathieux drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Mathieux seems to have locked his on tight now - Agro screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Mathieux, as he picks up the win!
