Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Craig Sutherland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicholas Etch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sutherland keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Sutherland throws a one two combo.
A nice inside leg kick there by Etch. That's going to slow Sutherland down.

Sutherland forces Etch back against the cage and clinches.
Etch has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Sutherland avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Sutherland stops a takedown attempt from Etch.
Craig Sutherland has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nicholas Etch.
Sutherland gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Etch.

Nicholas Etch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Etch shoots for a takedown but Sutherland saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Sutherland doesn't manage to clinch there - Etch circles away.

Etch connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Sutherland gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Etch drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sutherland pulls his leg out and moves away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Etch.

Sutherland darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Etch is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Sutherland scores with a couple of nice shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sutherland winds up and cracks Etch with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Sutherland is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Sutherland is nestled in close to Etch, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Sutherland wants to stand up but Etch is controlling the position.
Etch is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Etch has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Sutherland. Oh but Etch has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Sutherland goes limp - he's gone! Etch jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
