Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Adam Pierce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aziz Ansari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ansari is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Macarena. The key to victory for Adam Pierce has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Adam Pierce!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Aziz Ansari!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ansari is defended easily by Pierce.
Pierce is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Pierce lands a jab-cross combination.
Ansari takes one to the chin there.
Ansari shoots in but no luck this time.
Pierce fails in his attempt to clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pierce. Ansari does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pierce displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ansari.
Adam Pierce has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aziz Ansari.
Pierce tries to clinch but Ansari moves out of range.
Pierce lands a right hook to the body.
Ansari takes one to the side of the head.
Pierce lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Ansari drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ansari takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Ansari shoots for a double leg takedown but Pierce sprawls well. He's pushed Ansari's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ansari takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Pierce moves into range and connects with a jab.

Pierce instigates a clinch.

Ansari gets control of Pierce's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ansari will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Pierce got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ansari has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pierce has managed to get both his arms back between Ansari's legs - danger averted.

Ansari has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pierce can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Pierce is working hard here to advance position.

Ansari is looking to sinch up a triangle. Pierce throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Ansari's body to avoid the submission. Ansari has instead reached around Pierce's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Ansari arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Aziz Ansari tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
