The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gabonica closes the distance and pushes Hinch back into the cage.

Gabonica is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hinch is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Gabonica to the mat. Gabonica regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Gabonica has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Bitis Gabonica.
Gabonica goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Hinch takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Stevie Hinch has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hinch.
Hinch has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hinch there as he acknowledges the shot.

Gabonica closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hinch to the mat! Hinch manages to get full guard.

Oh but Hinch is tightening it up a little... Gabonica has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Gabonica reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Gabonica taps out! Nice BJJ there by Hinch!
