Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Berendt Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Ramrod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansen misses with a body kick.
Ramrod is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Ramrod dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ramrod swings for the body but Hansen moves out of range.
Hansen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ramrod swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hansen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ramrod lands a head shot.
Hansen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

and Hansen counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hansen.
Hansen tries to free his leg and advance position but Ramrod is retaining full guard.

Hansen drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hansen jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hansen has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ramrod is proving hard to escape from.
Ramrod is looking to stand up but Hansen isn't so interested in that idea.
Hansen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ramrod on the ground.

Ramrod pushes Hansen off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Ramrod takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Jeff Ramrod has been cut.
Hansen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ramrod tries to avoid it but Hansen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ramrod to the ground. Ramrod escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hansen is looking to clinch but Ramrod is avoiding it.

Ramrod bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hansen's head.

Ramrod takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Hansen shoots in looking for a takedown. Ramrod tries to sprawl out of it but Hansen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ramrod manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hansen is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Ramrod has managed to free his arm - good work.
Ramrod wants to sweep but Hansen has passed to side control!
Hansen is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Ramrod's shoulder. That is not cool.
Ramrod is working to avoid the ground and pound but Hansen connects with a decent elbow.
Hansen wants to control for a moment but Ramrod uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Hansen has Ramrod up against the cage in a clinch.

Hansen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That was a close round but I would say that Berendt Hansen will probably get the nod.

I would just about give that final round to Jeff Ramrod.
