Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lero fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Buds sprawls well initially but Lero persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Lero is working for a kimura but Buds is defending it quite comfortably.
Buds pushes Lero off looking to stand but Lero dives back in and keeps control.

Buds is defending against the submission attempts here by Lero.
Buds is looking to escape.

Lero is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Buds defends it well.
Buds wants to get back to his feet.

Lero is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Buds has managed to free his arm - good work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lero wants to pass to mount but Buds is defending the position.

Lero looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Buds is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Buds wants to try and get back to his feet.
Lero throws some wild stikes that Buds manages to avoid easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lero throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Buds because Lero loaded up on that one.
Buds on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Buds tries to get out of the position.

Lero looking for a guillotine from mount but Buds is having none of it.
Buds is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lero is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Buds to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Buds shrugs it off.

Lero is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Buds is forced to tap! Great finish!
