Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Darius Badolato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Badolato might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Nneka - Heartbeat. Darius Badolato could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jon Snow's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jon Snow!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Hugh Johnson and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snow takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Snow thows a body shot but no joy.

Badolato misses with a hook
and Snow counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Badolato manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Snow on his heels. He'll look to pass Snow's guard now, I'm sure.

Snow is fighting off a takedown attempt but Badolato is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Snow to the mat. Snow regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Badolato drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Snow manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Badolato has Snow in his guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Badolato escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Snow gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Snow stands up from Badolato's guard - Snow perhaps looking for a knockout.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Snow enables Badolato to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Snow manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Badolato tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Badolato has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
