PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Davide Moratti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Flash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moratti comes to the ring accompanied by ganja cowboy. Tony Flash told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moratti is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

It looks like Davide Moratti has been cut.

Moratti fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Flash to the ground. Moratti is now in Flash's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Moratti is looking to work some ground and pound but Flash has wrist control.
Flash really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moratti. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Flash tries to land a sweep but no joy.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Moratti accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Moratti seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Flash does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Moratti connects with a nice short shot to Flash's temple.

Moratti has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Moratti is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Flash is just riding it out for now. Moratti eventually gives up the hold.

Moratti looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Flash with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Moratti cracks Flash with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
BOOM! Moratti connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tony Flash's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
