The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartnell throws an off balance right hand
and Kolamies counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Cartnell thinking.
Kolamies avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Cartnell moves into the clinch successfully.

Cartnell tries to throw a body punch but Kolamies avoids it by throwing Cartnell back against the ropes.
Cartnell wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Cartnell tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

It looks like Ronnie Kolamies has been cut.
Kolamies uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cartnell.
Cartnell misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
