Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josh Bolda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michal Materla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bolda comes to the cage accompanied by Fett's Vette. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Materla looks to throw the jab but Bolda is out of range.
Bolda looks to throw the jab but Materla is out of range.
Materla misses with a hook to the body
and Materla takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A jab from Bolda finds it's way through Materla's defenses.
Materla throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Materla throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Materla misses with a jab to the body
and Bolda counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Materla darts in and clinches Bolda up against the cage.
Materla wants a takedown.
Materla is working for takedown but Bolda is calmly controlling the position for now.
Materla is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Bolda doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Materla has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bolda is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Josh Bolda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michal Materla.

Materla blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Bolda lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Bolda stops a takedown attempt from Materla.

Bolda lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Materla is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Bolda can't fight it off and eventually Materla manages to take the fight to the floor. Bolda looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Materla stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bolda swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bolda is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Materla frees his head nicely. Oh but Bolda has switched to an armbar! Materla is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

After winning the bout, Josh Bolda thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
