Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Morales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doctor Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Turk.

Turk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Morales swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Turk changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Morales tries to avoid it but Turk manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Morales to the ground. Morales escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Turk has his takedown stuffed

and Morales counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Turk keeping moving, preventing Morales from controlling successfully.
Morales sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Turk's guard.
Morales tries to pass to full mount but Turk defends it.
Morales is looking to take a break and control but Turk is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Turk makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Turk.

Turk escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Morales gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Morales stands and steps away. Turk gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Morales shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Turk wants to get back to full guard.
Well, if Morales is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Turk is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Turk wants to sweep here but Morales controlling him for the moment.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Morales goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Morales looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Turk is fending him off so far but Morales persists. Nope, Turk circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Turk has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Morales off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
