Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shane Rory (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stevenson closes the distance and clinches.
Stevenson prevents Rory from breaking the clinch.

Rory escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rory looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Rory scores with a one two! Stevenson had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Steve Stevenson has been cut.
Stevenson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Rory paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A head kick misses from Rory.

Stevenson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stevenson lands in his opponent's guard.
Rory can't keep his opponent in guard - Stevenson advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Stevenson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rory doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Stevenson.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stevenson is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Stevenson is in the full mount, landing strikes.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Rory is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Stevenson locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Rory is forced to tap!
