The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seesumran stalks Santos and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Santos's face. Santos staggers backwards, shaken.
Santos shoots and misses
and Seesumran counters with a low kick, right behind Santos 's knee.
Seesumran throws a left and a right that both miss

so Santos counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Seesumran keeping moving, preventing Santos from controlling successfully.
Santos is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Seesumran is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Santos drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Santos jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Seesumran avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Seesumran really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Santos. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Santos shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Seesumran pinned against the cage. Seesumran gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
