Saurus comes to the cage accompanied by Kraantje Pappie - Waar is Kraan? . Mot comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mot misses with a wild combination.
Mot bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Mot throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Saurus scores with a crisp jab that stopped Mot in his tracks.
Saurus waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mot.

and Saurus counters with a stiff right hand.
Saurus connects with a jab.
Mot jabs Saurus to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Mot throws a jab but it's blocked by Saurus.
Saurus loads up on a big right hand but Mot slips the punch.
Saurus throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mot sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Mot uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Saurus.

Mot tries to work over Saurus's front leg with a kick but Saurus checks it.
Saurus throws a looping overhand right but Mot ducks down to avoid it.
Saurus fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Mot slips under a jab from Saurus.
Saurus takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Saurus gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Mot.
Saurus takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Mot swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Saurus has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mot finds it's way round the side to connect with Saurus's head.
Mot tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Saurus paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Tom Mot is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Mot swings for the body but Saurus moves out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mot dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Saurus. That did some damage!
Saurus's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Mot connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Saurus scrambles back to his feet.

Mot bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Saurus's head.

Saurus throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Tom Mot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Mot counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Saurus struggles to land a body shot inside as Mot controls his hands.

Saurus on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Mot throws a hook but Saurus avoids it easily.
Saurus looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Saurus avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Saurus looking to control but Mot is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Mot throws a solid leg kick but Saurus takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Mot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Saurus. Mot does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mot cracks Saurus with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

The fighters circle momentarily. Mot darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Oh Saurus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Are you kidding me?! Mot ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Saurus clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
