The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels lands with a nice combination. Infamous backs away looking to recover.

Infamous shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Daniels pinned against the cage. Daniels gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Infamous utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Daniels throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Daniels wants to get up but he can't break Infamous's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Daniels tries to close the distance and clinch but Infamous swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
