The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christian rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Harvath moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Christian throws a poor cross that misses
and Harvath counters with a low kick, right behind Christian 's knee.
Harvath throws a chopping leg kick but Christian manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Jack Christian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Christian lands with an uppercut that bounces Harvath off the cage and back into range.
Christian throws a left and a right that both miss
and Harvath counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Christian is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Harvath fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Christian has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Harvath motions for Christian to come forward. Harvath throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Christian shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Harvath eats them both and turns towards Christian to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Christian throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Harvath lands a jab to the head.

and Harvath counters with a left to the body.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Christian crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Harvath - the referee stops the clock and Christian gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Harvath. Christian manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Christian throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Harvath.
Christian swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Harvath counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
A good leg kick by Harvath.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Christian crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Harvath - the referee stops the clock and Christian gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Harvath. Christian manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Harvath lands a high kick to the side of Christian's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Harvath dives into guard, looking to finish.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Harvath fakes the leg kick and cracks Christian in the body.
Christian misses with a left hand
and Harvath counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
That kick from Harvath tenderised Christian's leg. Christian is trying to keep his angry face on.
Harvath finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Christian will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Harvath throws a leg kick which misses Christian's front leg but catches the back leg as Christian tries to avoid it.
Christian just misses with a punch to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Christian goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Harvath will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Christian has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Harvath.
