The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edward throws a head kick but Ivey moves out of range.
Edward throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ivey throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Edward fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ivey manages to avoid it.
A bone on bone clash there as Ivey blocks the leg kick.
Edward has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Edward there as he acknowledges the shot.

It looks like Ryan Edward has been cut.
Edward takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ivey smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Edward tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ivey was well out of range. Poor timing from Edward.

Ivey is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Edward screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

In his post fight interview, Ryan Edward started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
