The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Pabin misses.

Burton scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Burton uses his free foot to push down on Pabin's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Pabin.
Burton misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Burton avoids the attempt from Pabin to control.

BOOM! Burton connects with a massive shot to the dome!

It looks like Damian Pabin has been cut.
Pabin is trying desperately to improve position.
Burton throwing strikes here but Pabin is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Pabin holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Burton tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Pabin tries to hold on but Burton pushes him away.

Burton throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Pabin has his hands clasped together but Burton breaks the hold and Pabin is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Burton!
