Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 2, fighting out of London, Frank Warren! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, peter Tremain! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksandr Martynov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tremain gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Warren counters with a lovely shot to the body. Warren circles away from the clinch attempt and Warren counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Warren. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Warren stands and throws Tremain's legs to the side, diving into side control. Warren tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Warren working away. Warren is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tremain is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Tremain tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Warren wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Warren is looking to take a break and control but Tremain is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Tremain on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Warren throwing shots but missing, from side control. Tremain tries to buck Warren off but Warren is having none of it. Warren misses with the ground and pound. Tremain is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Warren misses with the ground and pound. Tremain is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Warren off and has taken his back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tremain is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Warren is tapping out! This one is all over!
