PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kamryn Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krzysztof Jarzyna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black comes to the cage accompanied by Bullet In My Hand by Redlight King. Jarzyna has chosen The Prodigy - Omen as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksandr Martynov and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Jarzyna misses with a hook.

Jarzyna tries to keep at a distance but Black has taken the fight into the clinch.
Black tries for a takedown but Jarzyna manages to get underhooks.

Jarzyna breaks from the clinch.
Black moves out of range as Jarzyna strikes.
Black closes the distance and clinches up with Jarzyna, looking for a takedown. Black pushes Jarzyna against the cage but Jarzyna circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jarzyna scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Black dodges the punch combination from Jarzyna.
Black tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jarzyna paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jarzyna throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jarzyna scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

and Black counters with a two punch combo.
Jarzyna fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Jarzyna tries to bum rush Black with a series of wild strikes but Black uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Jarzyna counters with a right hand to the body.
Black tries to clinch but Jarzyna moves away
and Jarzyna counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Jarzyna rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Black counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Jarzyna is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Jarzyna feints and as Black raises his hands in defense, Jarzyna changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Jarzyna postures up in Black's guard and throws a big left but Black blocks it.

Black working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jarzyna doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jarzyna manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Black is breathing heavily.
Black avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Jarzyna stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Black swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jarzyna is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jarzyna throws an elbow that misses. Black uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jarzyna's guard. Nice move by Black!
Black is looking to work some ground and pound but Jarzyna has wrist control.
Jarzyna manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Black manages to get himself to full guard.
Jarzyna wants to pass the guard but Black is keeping the position.

Jarzyna chips away with some ground and pound.
Jarzyna throws a strike but Black rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Black postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jarzyna is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Black, into his guard.

Jarzyna slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Black on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Black tries to get out of the position.

Jarzyna fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Black is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Black might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Black takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Krzysztof Jarzyna dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Black takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Jarzyna throws a series of strikes that have Black backpedaling.
Black misses with a few strikes there.
Black moves in looking to clinch but Jarzyna pushes him off.
Nice uppercut lands for Jarzyna. That snapped Black's head back.
Jarzyna dives in and grabs Black's left leg, looking for a takedown. Black pushes down on Jarzyna's head and hops out.
Black clobbers Jarzyna with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Good standup being displayed there by Jarzyna as he connects with a hook.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jarzyna swings away with a body shot that misses
and Black counters with a stiff right hand.
Jarzyna tests Black's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Jarzyna throws a right and a left that both miss.

Jarzyna bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Black's head backwards.

Kamryn Black is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Black looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

and Jarzyna counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Black throws a nice looking combination but Jarzyna bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Oh Black is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Black moves out of range of the strikes.
Black wants to clinch up but Jarzyna keeps it at a distance.
Black seems to have got his legs back now.
Jarzyna lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Jarzyna feints with a jab and clips Black right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Black is sent crashing into the canvas and Jarzyna leaps in for the kill! Black tries to get to his feet but Jarzyna is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Black is in need of a savior and steps in!

Krzysztof Jarzyna tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
