Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Krohn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frazier Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matt Krohn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frazier Crane!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Bruno Lombardi and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crane misses with a few strikes there.
Crane throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Crane misses with a low kick.
Crane dives in and grabs Krohn's left leg, looking for a takedown. Krohn pushes down on Crane's head and hops out.

Krohn closes the distance and pushes Crane back into the cage.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Krohn just misses with a elbow thrown towards Crane's brow.
Krohn dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.

Krohn breaks from the clinch.

Krohn shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Krohn showed some decent athleticism there.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Krohn looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Crane tries to kick Krohn off but Krohn keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Krohn performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

Krohn decides to stand and escape the position.
Crane misses with a jab, cross combination.
Krohn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Crane misses with the combination.
Krohn avoids a punch combination nicely.
A nice combination there by Krohn.

Krohn pushes Crane up against the cage in a clinch.
Crane tries to pull guard but Krohn holds him up against the cage and eventually Crane drops back down to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Krohn throws an elbow that misses.

Krohn is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Crane can't fight it off and eventually Krohn manages to take the fight to the floor. Crane looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Krohn slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Crane looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Krohn controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Krohn gets to his feet. Crane looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Krohn rushes Crane and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Crane's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Krohn jumps into guard, dragging Crane to the mat.
Krohn manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Crane manages to get himself to full guard.

Krohn gets to his feet - Crane follows without any prompting.
Crane loads up on a big right hand but Krohn slips the punch.
A combination from Krohn does no damage.
Crane tries to bum rush Krohn with a series of wild strikes but Krohn uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Crane misses with a series of wild punches.
Crane swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Crane moves in looking to clinch but Krohn pushes him off.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Crane misses with a two punch combination.

Crane fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Krohn sprawls well initially but Crane persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Crane looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Krohn gets back to full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Krohn is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Krohn bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Crane's guard.
Krohn sitting in guard here, content to control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Krohn thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Crane trying to keep a closed guard but Krohn is proving a slippery customer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Matt Krohn dominated that round.
That's time! Krohn's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Krohn staying out of range there.
Krohn throws a sloppy head kick

and Crane counters with a crisp one two that drops Krohn! Crane thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Krohn to his feet! Krohn is in big trouble!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Crane shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Crane misses with a two punch combination.
Crane throws a right hand that Krohn ducks under and follows up with a left that Krohn also avoids with ease.
No joy there for Crane, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Crane misses with a wild combination.
Krohn looks to land a combination but Crane avoids it well.

Krohn closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Crane to the mat! Crane manages to get full guard.
Crane is breathing heavily.

Krohn stands up and waves to Crane to follow him.
The fight stays on the outside here - Crane looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Crane looks to land a combination but Krohn avoids it well.
Frazier Crane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Krohn clinches up with Crane and pushes him back against the cage.

Krohn turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Krohn manages to end up in side control.
Krohn scores with a couple of short elbows.
Crane is looking to reverse the position.
Krohn controls the position from side control.

Krohn stands up and beckons Crane to his feet.
A cross from Crane lands.


Krohn is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Crane throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Oh Krohn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Crane misses with a two punch combination.
Crane misses with a double jab.
Krohn tries to close the distance and clinch up but Crane swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Matt Krohn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Crane will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A combination from Crane does no damage.
Krohn doesn't manage to clinch there - Crane circles away.
Krohn gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Crane gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Krohn is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frazier Crane!
