Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Charlie Runkle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lawrence Mars (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Runkle comes into the arena with Californication theme blaring out of the sound system. Mars is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Avenged Sevenfold's Nightmare. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Runkle uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mars.
Mars throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Runkle 's waist but Runkle gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mars off to one side.

Mars chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Runkle can pounce on him.

Mars closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Runkle to the mat! Runkle manages to get full guard.

Runkle is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
