The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andolini on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Andolini fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Andolini looks gassed!
Thorne throws a right hand that Andolini ducks under and follows up with a left that Andolini also avoids with ease.
Thorne throws a nice outside leg kick.
Thorne fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Thorne lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Thorne lands a nice leg kick that just misses Andolini's sensitive parts.
Thorne connects with a leg kick. Andolini looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Thorne scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Thorne lands a big head kick that sends Andolini tumbling to the mat! Thorne takes a step backwards and waves Andolini back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like John Andolini has been cut.
Thorne scores with a spinning back kick!
Andolini tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thorne connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Thorne throws a quick inside leg kick.
Thorne throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thorne thumps Andolini with a low kick.
Thorne throws a leg kick which misses Andolini's front leg but catches the back leg as Andolini tries to avoid it.
Thorne dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Thorne lands a really nice looking cross but Andolini seems unphased.
Thorne fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Andolini out cold! Brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Acaelus Thorne!
