PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Alastair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Allan Goodlow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alastair comes into the arena with Learning to Fly by Pink Floyd blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goodlow throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Goodlow wants to clinch.
Alastair tries to clinch but Goodlow moves out of range.

Goodlow clinches with his opponent.
Goodlow tries to pull guard but Alastair holds him up against the cage and eventually Goodlow drops back down to his feet.

Alastair pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Goodlow tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Alastair gets caught napping as Goodlow dives in and scores a takedown. Alastair manages to retain guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Goodlow trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Goodlow drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Goodlow jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
