Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jean Descharme (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marshall Noir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noir is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Pride. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jean Descharme!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marshall Noir!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Descharme lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Descharme will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Noir keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Descharme throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Noir looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Descharme is fending him off so far but Noir persists. Nope, Descharme circles away and we're back to standing.
Noir fails with the takedown.

Noir fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Descharme to the ground. Noir is now in Descharme's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Descharme looking for a sweep. Not yet Descharme, not yet.

Descharme working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Noir doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Noir manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Descharme can't keep his opponent in guard - Noir advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Descharme works his way to full guard. Good work.

Noir got a little sloppy there for a moment and Descharme has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Noir has managed to get both his arms back between Descharme's legs - danger averted.
Noir stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Descharme swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Noir loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Descharme is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Noir is controlling him.
Noir pushing down on Descharme's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Noir working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Noir is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Noir has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Noir is trying to control the action in half guard but Descharme is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Noir uses his free foot to push down on Descharme's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Descharme.

Noir pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Noir cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Descharme is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Noir has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Descharme's face.

Descharme is rocked!
Noir loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Descharme scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Noir land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Noir stands and salutes the crowd.
