Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cornelius Crumpet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teppi Tarinashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crumpet's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Kings of Leon - Fans. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Cornelius Crumpet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Teppi Tarinashi!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, William Gold and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crumpet lands a two punch combo.
Crumpet scores with a jab. Tarinashi acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Tarinashi tries to clinch but Crumpet moves out of range.
Tarinashi takes one on the button.
Crumpet misses with a double jab.
Crumpet lands a two punch combo.

Crumpet closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Crumpet has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Crumpet swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Cornelius Crumpet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crumpet throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Tarinashi takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Crumpet holds on and takes a little breather.
Crumpet throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Crumpet looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tarinashi is one step ahead there.

Tarinashi drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Crumpet manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tarinashi has Crumpet in his guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Cornelius Crumpet will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Tarinashi has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Crumpet regains guard immediately.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

That was a close second round but I would say that Cornelius Crumpet will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!



Tarinashi clinches up with Crumpet and pushes him back against the cage.
Crumpet misses with a hook from the clinch.
Crumpet misses with a short punch on the inside.
Crumpet has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tarinashi avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Crumpet tries to break the clinch but Tarinashi is controlling the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Tarinashi holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Tarinashi keeps control of Crumpet as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Crumpet wants to break the clinch but can't.
Crumpet has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tarinashi is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Tarinashi is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Crumpet can't fight it off and eventually Tarinashi manages to take the fight to the floor. Crumpet looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Tarinashi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Crumpet swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Crumpet throws a lazy right hand but Tarinashi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Crumpet misses with a jab, cross combination.
Tarinashi swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Crumpet counters with a nice uppercut.
Tarinashi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Crumpet looks for a takedown but Tarinashi sprawls well.

Tarinashi has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Crumpet clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Crumpet is covering up but some of the strikes from Tarinashi are getting through and doing damage.

Crumpet looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

I think Crumpet has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
