Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dante Alastair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cale Sheas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alastair comes to the cage accompanied by The End by Roadrunner United. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Alastair.
Sheas bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Some wild striking there from Alastair.

Alastair takes the fight into the clinch.

Sheas escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Alastair tries to clinch up.
Cale Sheas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sheas swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Alastair counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Sheas!

Sheas wants to control but Alastair is having none of it.

Sheas's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sheas is squirming around, avoiding Alastair's attempts to control the action.

Sheas tries to lock up and control but Alastair gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Alastair takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Alastair has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Alastair cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Alastair shoots in but no luck this time.

It looks like Dante Alastair has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Alastair is working an open guard so Sheas takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Oh Alastair is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Alastair tries to clinch there but Sheas circles away.

Sheas lands a high kick to the side of Alastair's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Sheas dives into guard, looking to finish.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Alastair is on top in guard.

Sheas wants to stand and escape but Alastair is having none of it.
Alastair postures up in Sheas's guard and throws a big left but Sheas blocks it.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Sheas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Sheas checks a leg kick.
Alastair wants to clinch.

Alastair shoots in and bounces Sheas off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Alastair throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sheas works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Sheas wants to stand but Alastair is controlling the position.

Alastair lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Alastair with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Sheas manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Alastair tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
