Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rashad Eveans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bubba Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eveans's entrance music is One Step Into A World. A fine choice. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bubba Jenkins!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins fails with the takedown
and Eveans counters with a one-two to the body.

Jenkins looking to score a takedown here. Eveans is defending well but Jenkins drives through and ends up in Eveans's guard.
Jenkins postures up and lands a big shot to Eveans's brow.

Eveans on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Eveans tries to get out of the position.

Jenkins tries to score a power double leg takedown but Eveans sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jenkins somewhat.

Bubba Jenkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jenkins closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Eveans quickly recovers to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jenkins shoots for a double leg takedown but Eveans sprawls well. He's pushed Jenkins's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Eveans throws a right hand that Jenkins ducks under and follows up with a left that Jenkins also avoids with ease.

Jenkins shoots in and bounces Eveans off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Jenkins seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Jenkins slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Bubba Jenkins.
Jenkins looks to land a combination but Eveans avoids it well.
Eveans pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Jenkins scores with a sloppy right hand. Eveans should have avoided that one.

Jenkins shoots in and gets a takedown into Eveans's guard.
Bubba Jenkins has got the better of the ground game so far.
Jenkins controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Jenkins throws a strike but Eveans rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Jenkins wants to stand but Eveans is controlling the position.

Jenkins kicks Eveans off and gets to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Eveans displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jenkins.
Jenkins shoots in looking for a takedown. Eveans tries to sprawl out of it but Jenkins keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Eveans manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bubba Jenkins showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Jenkins shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Eveans sprawls well. Eveans wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jenkins gets slowly back to his feet.
Eveans misses with a few strikes there.
Bubba Jenkins is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Eveans gets caught flat footed, as Jenkins shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Jenkins is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Eveans is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Eveans escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rashad Eveans.
I think Jenkins has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
