Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Thorpe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forkashy Vikarie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thorpe comes to the cage accompanied by Limelight by Rush. Vikarie has chosen Halloween as his entrance music. Scott Thorpe could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Forkashy Vikarie's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorpe moves into range and clinches up with Vikarie.
Thorpe has Vikarie pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Thorpe pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Vikarie tumbling to the mat - Thorpe dives into Vikarie's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Thorpe accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

It looks like Forkashy Vikarie has been cut.

Thorpe tries to clinch but Vikarie is having none of it.
Thorpe closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Vikarie to the mat! Vikarie manages to get full guard.
Thorpe is looking to work some ground and pound but Vikarie has wrist control.
Thorpe has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Thorpe thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Thorpe won't allow Vikarie to get back to his feet.

Thorpe working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Vikarie's head.

Thorpe drops back looking for a leg! Vikarie is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Vikarie manages to kick Thorpe off! Thorpe jumps back into Vikarie's guard.
Thorpe tries to free his leg and advance position but Vikarie is retaining full guard.

Thorpe is trying to drag Vikarie to the mat but Vikarie just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scott Thorpe. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Thorpe misses the shot to the body.
Thorpe fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Vikarie sprawls well initially but Thorpe persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thorpe lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Vikarie hang on?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Thorpe softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Vikarie is out cold! Thorpe jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scott Thorpe!
Post fight, Scott Thorpe stared into the camera and said 'Boom goes the Dynamite!'.
