Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jie Liu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sho Kazuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kazuki has chosen Effects of Hiroshima as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Sho Kazuki!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kazuki misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kazuki throws a low kick, looking for Liu's leg but Liu calmly moves out of range.
Kazuki works Liu's body with a nice hook.
Kazuki tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Liu scores with a nice body kick.
Kazuki scores with a jab to the head.
Liu throws a body punch but Kazuki moves out of range.
Kazuki throws a body punch but Liu moves out of range.
Liu walks into a straight right hand from Kazuki.
Liu throws a lazy right hand but Kazuki sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kazuki swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Liu throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Kazuki checks a low kick from Liu.
Liu is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Liu's corner calls for a 1-2. Liu obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Jie Liu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Liu misses with a straight right.

Kazuki swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Liu looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kazuki moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Liu scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Liu connects with a looping right hand.
Liu throws a leg kick but Kazuki moved away.
Kazuki fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Liu manages to avoid it.
Liu fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kazuki to the ground. Liu is now in Kazuki's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Liu throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Liu connects with a couple of short punches.
Liu cracks Kazuki with a solid left hand.
Kazuki is rocked!
Liu is working Kazuki over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Kazuki is still in real trouble! Can Liu finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Liu arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Kazuki's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jie Liu!
