Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wesm Hoals (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patrick Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoals tries a head kick but it misses.
Garcia stuns Hoals with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hoals is defended easily by Garcia .

Hoals bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Garcia manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Hoals is not content to let Garcia control the position.

Hoals is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Garcia can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Garcia tries to lock up and control but Hoals gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Hoals has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Garcia 's face.

Garcia really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hoals. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
