Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Damarcus Jordan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Adem Tas!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Jordan or perhaps it was just good defense by Tas which made him look bad.
Jordan with a poor takedown
and Tas counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jordan won't be happy with that.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Jordan is looking for a sweep.
Tas stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Tas is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Tas bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tas has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Jordan shoots and misses
and Tas counters with a crisp one two that drops Jordan! Tas thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Jordan to his feet! Jordan is in big trouble!
Jordan is rocked!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Damarcus Jordan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A head kick by Tas - that's a beauty! Jordan is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Tas can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
