And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Anthony Taglia and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Makunouchi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jackson avoids it really well and circles away.
Jackson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Makunouchi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jackson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Makunouchi moves away.
Jackson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Makunouchi has closed the distance and engaged Jackson in a clinch.
Jackson wants to break the clinch but can't.
Jackson unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Jackson manages to break the clinch.
Jackson jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Jackson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jackson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Makunouchi counters with a stiff right hand.
Jackson is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Makunouchi lands an uppercut, right on the button! Jackson tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ippo Makunouchi!
