The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close second round but I would say that Ben Jackson will probably get the nod.

Jackson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jackson connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pierce's hands.
Jackson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jackson leaves Pierce with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Pierce's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jackson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pierce scrambles back to his feet.

Pierce isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jackson stacks Pierce on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jackson!
