Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Quaid 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Cruz gets tackled into the cage by Quaid. Quaid maintains the clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Quaid misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Cruz can't break the clinch.
Cruz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Quaid is working for takedown but Cruz is calmly controlling the position for now.
Quaid lands with a short shot to the head.
Cruz working hard to break the clinch.
Cruz prevents a body shot from Quaid.
Quaid keeps control of Cruz as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Cruz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Cruz scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Quaid tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Cruz manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Cruz counters with an inside leg kick.
Quaid drops his hands momentarily and Cruz takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Cruz scores with a nice strike.
Jorge Cruz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cruz throws a hook but Quaid blocks it.
Quaid closes the distance but Cruz moves to the side
enabling Cruz to counter with a crisp jab.
Cruz circles away from the clinch attempt.
Cruz works the jab nicely.
Cruz cracks Quaid with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Quaid is rocked!
Are you kidding me?! Cruz ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Quaid clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
