Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jake The Snake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tap Out!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Skip Squint and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Snake scores with a crisp jab that stopped Out in his tracks.
The Snake throws a body punch but Out moves out of range.
Out tries for a takedown but The Snake circles away easily
and The Snake counters with a nice body shot.
The Snake connects with a good right hand that stumbles Out. Out circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
The Snake misses with a body shot.
Out pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
The Snake dips to his left and cracks Out with an uppercut!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Out throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
The Snake misses the shot to the body.

Out scores a takedown into full mount!
The Snake tries to reverse the position but Out maintains control.
Out misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
The Snake tries to lock up and control but Out gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Out throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
The Snake really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Out wants to control the pace but The Snake is squirming around nicely.
Out looking to finish with strikes here!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The Snake wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Out.
Out looking to control but The Snake is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Out throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Out is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. The Snake can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Poor strikes thrown by Out there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

The Snake blocking the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The Snake tries to reverse the position but Out maintains control.
The Snake is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
The Snake tries to hold on but Out postures up.

Out is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But The Snake has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from The Snake!

Out is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Out looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Out has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Out looking to control but The Snake passes into half guard.
Out wants to get back to full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Tap Out will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


The Snake lands a nice hook to Out's body. Out takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

The Snake shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Out eats them both and turns towards The Snake to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Out needs to keep his hands up - The Snake had a free shot at his head there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Out finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

The Snake cracks Out with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. The Snake has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Out to stand back up!


Out is rocked!
Out steps to the side to avoid the strikes from The Snake.
Horrible takedown by Out or perhaps it was just good defense by The Snake which made him look bad.
Out tried to score with a low kick but The Snake checks it.
The Snake is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Out shoots for a takedown but The Snake saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Nice defenses there by Out.
The Snake tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Out paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Out thuds a left hand into The Snake's body.
Jake The Snake is winning the standup battle so far.

Out takes one to the chin there.
Out swinging wildly here.
The Snake punishes Out's body with a nice straight punch.
Out is breathing heavily.
The Snake tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Out was well out of range. Poor timing from The Snake.
The Snake lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Out at a distance.
The Snake feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Outs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The Snake takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Out slips under a jab.
Out throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
The Snake connects with a looping right hand.
Out fails to land the takedown.
Jake The Snake has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tap Out.
The Snake scores with a body shot.

Out uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from The Snake.
Out misses with a kick to the body.
Out has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Out there as he acknowledges the shot.

The Snake has taken the fight to the clinch.
The Snake lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Out is trying to break free.
The Snake misses with the head strike.
Out looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
The Snake scores with a shot to the side of Out's head.
Out tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
The Snake just leaning against Out, taking a breather.
The Snake makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Nice body punch from The Snake - that landed with a thud.
A short right from The Snake on the inside.
The Snake gets through Out's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Out is still on wobbly legs! Can The Snake finish him?

Out is looking to break free of the clinch but The Snake has double underhooks.
The Snake creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Out's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Out drops to his knees and The Snake pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jake The Snake!
