The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waltonen misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lunlana darts in trying to clinch
and Waltonen counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Lunlana thinking.
Lunlana checks a low kick from Waltonen.

Waltonen closes the distance and clinches.
Lunlana with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Waltonen tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lunlana just stands there and leans against the cage.
Lunlana misses with a knee strike.
Waltonen blocks an elbow strike from Lunlana.
Waltonen lands a body shot.
Lunlana looking to stall.
Lunlana with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Waltonen lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Lunlana throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Waltonen blocks it with crossed arms.
Waltonen jumps guard but Lunlana turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Lunlana throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Waltonen tries to pull guard but Lunlana won't allow it.
Nipon Lunlana has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Toni Waltonen.

Waltonen jumps guard.
Waltonen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lunlana's guard.
Lunlana is looking to stand back up but Waltonen counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Lunlana.

Waltonen is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lunlana sees it coming and defends easily.

Lunlana is defending against the submission attempts here by Waltonen.
Waltonen perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Waltonen is working for a kimura but Lunlana is defending it quite comfortably.

Waltonen takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
