He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Marcelo Souza looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Panchone instigates a clinch.
Souza looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Panchone escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Panchone closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Souza quickly recovers to half guard.
Panchone uses his free foot to push down on Souza's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Souza.
Panchone tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Panchone fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
