PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel La Fleur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ilong Ranger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ranger tries to move into range but La Fleur moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
La Fleur misses with a series of wild punches.
Ranger wants to clinch up but La Fleur keeps it at a distance.
La Fleur throws the left hand but Ranger avoids the punch easily.
Decent striking displayed by La Fleur there.
Ranger on the wrong end of a nice jab.
La Fleur dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ranger. That did some damage!
Gabriel La Fleur seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ranger slips under a jab from La Fleur.
La Fleur swings for the body but Ranger moves out of range.
The fighters circle momentarily. La Fleur darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ranger goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A punch combination from Ranger misses.
Horrible takedown by Ranger or perhaps it was just good defense by La Fleur which made him look bad.
A nice inside leg kick there by La Fleur. That's going to slow Ranger down.
Ranger is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
La Fleur throws the left hand but Ranger avoids the punch easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ranger throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around La Fleur's waist but La Fleur gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ranger off to one side.
Ranger gets cracked there but stands up to it.
La Fleur throws a shot to the body.
Ranger looks gassed!
La Fleur scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
La Fleur connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ranger's hands.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nice uppercut lands for La Fleur. That snapped Ranger's head back.
La Fleur throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Ranger tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
La Fleur lands with a hook. Ranger tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Ranger is rocked!
La Fleur is looking to slow Ranger down with leg kicks.
Ranger is still on wobbly legs! Can La Fleur finish him?
Ranger drops his hands momentarily. La Fleur doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Ranger staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Ranger doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
