Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bariga Kodeinich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marti Pico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kodeinich's entrance music is izraelskiy kodeinshik. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pico avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pico throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kodeinich's waist but Kodeinich gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pico off to one side.
Kodeinich shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Pico eats them both and turns towards Kodeinich to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Pico is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kodeinich sees it coming and defends easily.

Pico has gone for a leg lock! Kodeinich slips out almost immediately though and dives into Pico's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Pico is squirming around, avoiding Kodeinich's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pico slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Pico is staying active underneath Kodeinich, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Kodeinich thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Kodeinich passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Pico!
Pico is bucking up trying to escape but Kodeinich cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Pico shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Pico was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Pico is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kodeinich to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kodeinich shrugs it off.

Pico seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Kodeinich shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Pico is backing up but Kodeinich catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Pico covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Kodeinich Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
