The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McFey moves out of range as Girsurrson throws a body kick.
Girsurrson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
McFey on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
McFey throws a nice head kick!
McFey throws the kick towards the body but Girsurrson avoids it.

McFey looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Girsurrson looks to land a body kick but McFey moved away.
McFey with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Girsurrson to score with a decent uppercut.
McFey throws a low kick but Girsurrson avoids it.
McFey attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Girsurrson throws a hook but McFey blocks it.
McFey shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

McFey throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Girsurrson sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Shamus McFey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Girsurrson checks a leg kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Girsurrson checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

McFey uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Girsurrson.
